Our Troops Serve Us – Now It’s Time for Us to Serve Them

Custom Landscaping and Lawncare is participating in “GreenCare for Troops” in East Brunswick. “GreenCare for Troops” is a nationwide outreach program initiated by Project Evergreen that connects participating local lawn and landscape firms with families of the men and women away from home serving our country in the armed forces.

In announcing this new program, we believe “Lawn and landscape maintenance becomes a definite hardship when a family’s major breadwinner is on active duty away from home. The “GreenCare for Troops” program seeks to ease this stress by helping affected families with the important task of caring for their yard and landscape.”

With Everyone Challenged this Year – Lets Challenge Ourselves to Help Others

With the help of our loyal customers, Custom Landscaping and Lawncare has for 2 years run a food and clothing drive to benefit FISH, Inc., which is an organization of volunteers who respond with compassion to the needs of the poor, the elderly , the homeless and those who fall between the cracks of public assistance of Middlesex County.

When we provide lawncare to our customers during the month of October, we pickup food and clothing donations that they leave for us. We also work with the local Acme Supermarket to staff a table at which their patrons may donate food. The generosity and success of the last 2 years has brought thousands of dollars’ worth of food and clothing to help those in need.
